La «alianza estratégica» en la que el Real Club Celta de Vigo y la Asociación Española de Mayoristas, Importadores, Exportadores y Transformadores de Productos de la Pesca y Acuicultura (Conxemar) llevaban meses trabajando ya es un acuerdo formal. De modo que el estadio municipal de Balaídos, que ahora luce el naming Abanca Balaídos en virtud de un acuerdo entre el club con la entidad financiera, pasará a denominarse Conxemar Balaídos.

CONXEMAR AND CELTA DE VIGO SIGN A SEVEN-YEAR ‘STRATEGIC ALLIANCE’ WITH A NEW NAME FOR BALAÍDOS
- The stadium will be renamed Conxemar Balaídos from 2028, when the club’s current agreement with Abanca expires
- The club and the trade association will present the details of the agreement on 1 October
The ‘strategic alliance’ on which Real Club Celta de Vigo and the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Exporters and Processors of Fishery and Aquaculture Products (Conxemar) had been working for months is now a formal agreement. Consequently, the Balaídos municipal stadium, which currently bears the name Abanca Balaídos under an agreement between the club and the financial institution, will be renamed Conxemar Balaídos.
